November 2017 - Next Year’s Programme
2018 promises to be another fine year for JUMP. We’ve already confirmed some great shows including The Half Moon in Putney with the amazing Lifesigns, our first visit to the south coast of England for ages at the brilliant Talking Heads venue and a slot at Nottingham’s Deerstock Festival. We’ve just confirmed a couple more exciting live outings... look out for announcements very soon. Meanwhile, material for the new album is almost complete with the first recording sessions beginning this month. Like us on Facebook and keep yourself in touch!

We enjoyed a brilliant evening recently at Farncombe Music Club in Surrey playing a full band acoustic show opening for Kindred Spirit. The event took place at St John's Church in Farncombe which provided an amazing setting for a wonderful evening. We're hoping to go back soon and would highly recommend a visit if you are based anywhere in the Guildford, Godalming etc area. Promoter Julian Lewry puts on regular events with top acts.
After being released from the bunker for this one-off show, the band is back in lockdown working on a new collection of material. Those familiar with the song Breaking Point will be happy to hear that it has become part two of three. Fears of a concept album, though, are as yet unfounded...!

THINGS UNFORESEEN HAVE AMBUSHED US...
It is with regret that we must announce the cancellation of our gigs at Maltby and Aylesbury, respectively in April and May. Some unforeseen circumstances have stepped out of the shadows and pulled the wheels from our wagon. The issues that face us will be resolved in the meantime and we look forward to re-scheduling gigs at the Classic Rock Society and Aylesbury Limelight Theatre when our spokes are aligned, our axles greased, our wheels re-fitted and the unforeseen circumstances slope off back to the shadows.
Our forthcoming show at Arts4Every1 in High Wycombe on March 25th is unaffected and remains very much ON !!! We also have a nice little acoustic surprise to announce for June and we are looking forward immensely to our appearance with Kindred Spirit at Farncombe Music Club in July.
Meanwhile the next JUMP album is taking shape...keep watching this space!

Tickets for the gig in Wycombe will go on sale shortly... we are in the throes of overcoming an extremely frustrating technical hitch in making them available... so save your pennies, ink it on your calendar, keep a watchful eye and when they go on sale... GET YOURS!!! Advance ticket sales mean guaranteed entry, a wider range of beers, less change required and a lovely souvenir. Simple.
26th January 2017 - Happy Newish Year!
We're back. The luxury jets have brought the six members of JUMP back from the four corners of the earth in to the freezing rehearsal room in deepest Bucks. We kick off this Saturday 28th January with a full band acoustic benefit gig for the Alzheimer's Society at the Dashwood Arms near West Wycombe before spending February knocking some new tunes into shape.
March sees us returning to HRH Prog for our 3rd appearance at this very prestigious festival... take a look at the bill and you'll agree that we're in some impressive company. That's 16th March. A week later, we're back in High Wycombe at Arts4Every1 following up the fantastic gig in November that saw us presented with our Hungarian Prog award!
See you out there in the... er... Brave New World?
